Town Crier

How it will work:
We are operating a telephone booking system for a limited number of tables (max 24hrs in advance and indoors only) message Sam on 07739719846. All other tables are on a walk in first come first served basis throughout opening.
Please wait at the open front door (do not enter if other customers are waiting to be seated), will then show you to a table if available. Note: a sanitiser unit is situated at the entrance for your use.
It is compulsory to take a name and contact details of the customer party. This is part of the Track & Trace system. Please be reassured that with GDPR in mind, details will be deleted after the 21 day guideline.
We are operating table service only. A dedicated member of our team will be taking & delivering orders to your table. Alternatively your orders can be texted to the bar (details found at your table).
We will open a tab for your visit which is to be paid by card or cash as you leave. This will reduce payment handling and contact.
We have introduced additional hygiene measures & more frequent cleaning schedules. We also have foot contact door opening and hand sanitisers around the pub.
All doors & windows will remain open for ventilation so you may want to fetch an extra jumper !! Please do not attempt to close them as they are open for everyone’s safety.
There are tables available in the beer garden where you can enjoy a ‘vertical’ beer whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines. Unfortunately if the weather turns while you are enjoying a beer there is limited covering although spare umbrellas are available.
Children and dogs are welcome, however children must remain seated & supervised at all times and dogs must be kept on their leads (or visa versa).
So that’s about it !!!! If you feel we’ve missed anything in the brief guideline to visiting The Huntsman please feel free to request a copy of the 11 page risk assessment
We have missed you and look forward to welcoming you back if you are ready and if not we send you big social distancing hugs and will see you further down the line .
We appreciate your patience and understanding during these strange times – it is all new to us too.
Love hugs & open pubs
